Valrhona Kalingo 65% is a premium Grand Cru dark chocolate that is produced from an exquisite cacao that originates from Grenada, also known by many as “Spice Island.” The cacao was the fruit of the island’s Amerindian people and the word Grand Cru was named after the Kalinago people. In the past, the cacao would be prepared via traditional dances that involved polishing and drying the cacao with bare feet in copper basins. Nowadays though, the cacao are grown by small farms on plots that ranges between two or one hectares.
Valrhona Kalingo 65% is perfect for coating, moulding, decoration and use as a chocolate ganache. It can also be used as a base for ice cream, sauces, chocolates and so much more. This product is also great for pairing with items like coconut, apricot, peanut, mint and more.

Valrhona Kalingo’s main ingredient is 65% cocoa. Its composition is a min. 65% Cocoa , 34% Sugar and 39% Fat. This product may contain traces of nuts. Recommended applications of Valrhona Kalingo includes Coating, Moulding, Bars, Mousse, Cream mix & Ganache, Ice creams & sorbets. The best pairings for this product would be Apricot, Coconut, Passion Fruit, Peanut, Chili, Ginger, Vanilla, Honey, Licorice & Salted butter.
