Baking powder is used to increase the volume and lighten the texture of baked goods.
With each 225g of plain flour used,
- 1 level teaspoon in rich cakes
- 2 level teaspoons in medium rich cakes
- 4 level teaspoons in scones and bread.
- Sift the Royal Baking Powder with the flour.
For fluffy omelettes and pancakes, add a pinch of Royal Baking Powder.
Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate), Corn starch.
